I am very happy with my car, I want to start with that. It’s exactly what I was wanting. What I’m not very happy with is that we opted out of a service plan that was offered to us but there was apparently confusion with how the salesman wrote that information down and I’m now paying for that service plan which added a few thousand dollars extra to my financing and, to our own fault, we did not catch it when reviewing the financing paperwork. We noticed a couple of days later and when we contacted the dealership, we were told paperwork had already been submitted and that nothing could be done. So I am now paying a lot of money for a service I didn’t want. Also, I have had to put air in one of my tires weekly since getting the car and my husband called to see if a patch was covered in this service plan but it was not.
I went here to look at this beautiful Jeep they had, and by the end of the afternoon, I drove it home. This is my second experience purchasing from a dealership, and my first one (with a different dealership, in a different state) was far from a good experience- but Jay Hatfield in Chanute was an absolute pleasure to buy from. My salesman was Mike Mcguire, and he was great- no pressure to buy, upfront about the vehicle and the buying process, and the finance department was incredibly helpful with answering questions about the loan process- and they got me a great interest rate! I would recommend Jay Hatfield to any of my friends, from my experience, if they're in the market for a new vehicle!
